Goa Science Centre & Planetarium
Goa Science Centre & Planetarium is one of the newest additions to Goa’s tourist attractions. This is a state-of-the-art science center developed to impart scientific knowledge and temperament especially among young children purely via unique edu-tainment concept. Edu-tainment is a unique concept that combines education and entertainment, thanks to which your children will here get to learn about science in more creative and innovative way.
This unique science center is located on beautiful Miramar Beach, which is barely few kms from the heart of Panaji city. It has 2 science galleries, a small science park and also a state-of-the-art planetarium. Besides, there is also a small cafeteria for enjoying refreshments.
While science galleries and science park surely offer enthralling experience, but it is planetarium that is the real highlight of this science center. More so, because it is one of the advanced planetariums of India, as it uses full dome projection technology that offers amazingly clear view of celestial objects. Daily 4 shows are organized at this planetarium that will take you into amazing world of our galaxies and universe. Although the planetarium is very small, with seating capacity for merely 53 people.
